Usher Khan completed his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience Studies in 2021. This academic background helped strengthen his understanding of biology, human behavior, brain science and the foundations of modern medicine. His neuroscience education continues to guide his interest in becoming a physician and exploring future opportunities in patient-centered care.
Khan has also pursued meaningful hands-on learning opportunities that support his medical career goals. These experiences have allowed him to observe healthcare professionals, interact with patients and better understand the responsibilities of compassionate medical service.
Usher Khan has participated in hospital-based volunteering and physician shadowing programs, including a two-part shadowing experience at DMC Sinai-Grace alongside a Cardiac EP and an Anesthesiologist. These opportunities gave him valuable insight into the doctor-patient relationship, clinical decision-making and professional communication in healthcare environments.
